It’s Back-to-School Season!
My two youngest started school last week and I can’t believe Summer is over! I feel like it gets shorter every year, don’t you?!
In case you missed it, I put together some fun collages of dorm-room decor a few weeks back. Since everyone is heading back to school I decided to restyle my daughter, Tiffany’s, room to bring a cute dorm-room look to life!
I wish I could say my children take impeccable care of their things….and while they do most of the time, there are still moments where that’s not quite the case… Giggle! Because of this, when they head off to college I don’t think it’s necessary to spend a lot of money. Instead, I like to grab affordable pieces so they have the option to either keep them throughout the entire time at school if they’d like, or switch pieces out when they move to new dorms or apartments! For me, one of the first places I always head to is Walmart!
If you’ve checked out Walmart lately, then you know that they have really been changing the game! You know I’ve always loved exploring Walmart to find fun decor pieces, but I was excited to see so many fun and also practical pieces for back-to-college! Their new site is so easy to navigate and really showcases the great pieces! There’s an entire section dedicated to back-to-college shopping which makes everything so easy! The best part though?! The free 2-day shipping that comes with most orders of $35 or more!! Rather than packing everything up in the car and hauling it to school, just go ahead and order the pieces a couple of days before move-in day and have them delivered straight to your dorm!
Can you believe this desk is only $49.00 and the chair is $33.95!!
After a long day of classes and exams, wouldn’t you want to come home to a place that would make you smile?!
