Happy New Year everyone! I hope you’re all following along in my IG stories as each morning I provide you an opportunity to share what you’re grateful for! It’s been SO wonderful seeing how many of you are participating, and I hope it helps you begin each day with a grateful heart and a spark of happiness!
I don’t know about you, but it’s been harder than I thought it would be getting back into the swing of things this week! We had the BEST time in Park City over Christmas! We were there for almost two weeks and I absolutely treasure the quality time we were able to spend as a family. Many of my kids are grown and live away from home, so it’s always special when we have an opportunity to gather all together again!
A fun tradition we started the last time we spent Christmas in Park City (2 years ago) was running to Walmart a couple of days before Christmas and finding a Christmas tree for our hotel room! We set a 30-minute timer and ran around the store picking out the tree and all of the ribbon and accessories to adorn it. The timer adds an extra bit of zest to the experience. It’s so fun! I always have to giggle when I think about all of the Christmas decorations in our home that took weeks to put up, and then we end up celebrating Christmas with a tree we pick out in 30 minutes. Giggle : ) You know I LOVE going all-out for Christmas, but getting away helps us really focus on the importance of family unity, love, and the true meaning of Christmas.
You all know I’ve been loving Walmart’s clothes lately, so I decided to swing by their clothing section in the store and of course I found some adorable pieces I had to grab for the week in the snow!
I wore them all week long and they kept me so warm and cozy! This sherpa is my favorite find out of all of the pieces here! I’m always freezing cold skiing, and I decided to layer it under my ski clothes one day and it was the first day I didn’t have to go into the lodge to thaw out! I love how versatile it is because it’s also just SO cute with jeans too! The sherpa fuzz that’s on the outside is the same on the inside. It’s one of the coziest things I own!
The sherpa is only $20 and comes in 6 colors! I’m wearing the XS!
The day I decided to take pictures of these cute clothes it was snowing SO HARD outside! You can especially notice it in this cute black outfit!
I walked inside after the shoot, covered in snow, and my family looked at me and laughed. I was SNOWY WHITE! #anythingfortheblog giggle : )
This red, white and black sweater is also SO cute! Can you believe it’s on sale for ONLY $11?!?!! You would NEVER know it!!! I wore it the day we flew back to Dallas as well, and sooo many people asked me about it at the airport!
These fleece lined leggings are also one of my favorite finds of the week! Again, SUPER versatile! I wore them under my ski pants for extra warmth, and as regular leggings paired with this sweater!
If you live in the snow, fleece lined leggings are a MUST! They come in a pack of 2 for only $10! That means they are only $5!!!! And, how adorable is this leopard version?!
This cute pink cardigan is perfect year-round and such a STEAL! I LOVE the shade of pink and it’s nice and thick! Can you believe it’s on sale for only $15?!? I seriously can’t get over these prices! I always love to throw on a cardigan when I’m headed out, or just wanting to feel cozy at home. This one comes in grey, black and cream as well!
The grey top is great for layering and comes in a pack of 2 for $9! (size up) and the beanie and scarfs are sold in-store only, so keep an eye out for them on your next Walmart run! I’ll link similar ones for you below though!
Last but DEFINITELY not least is this cozy cream sweater! I think my daughter wore this 5 of the 9 days we were in Utah! Giggle : ) She LOVED it! It’s soooo soft and has zero itch!!! You can size up if you want an oversized look. I’m wearing the medium here!
Again, another great quality piece at an amazing price! It comes in black, grey and pink as well!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season with your families! I was so lucky to have been able to spend it in the SNOW! If you live somewhere chilly then I definitely recommend you try out some of these pieces! I’m just continually impressed with the quality I can find for the price (not to mention, they are REALLY CUTE!)
I’ve linked everything for you to shop below, as well as a couple other pieces I found while I was buying some groceries this week! That’s another thing I love about Walmart, we can get a little fashion-fix while we’re buying produce :)!! You may have seen them linked in my stories a couple days ago!
Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post! I truly love Walmart clothes and hand-selected and purchased each piece on my own, with my own money
