We spent the most wonderful weekend at Long Cove! If you haven’t heard of Long Cove before, let me introduce you! It is a luxury residential community located just over an hour from Dallas on Cedar Creek Lake and designed to provide owners with a relaxing and family-oriented experience. It sits on six miles of shoreline in Cedar Creek’s deep waters and spans more than 1,000 acres! After our weekend I understand why it is considered to be the “Watercolor” or “Seaside” of Texas.
We stayed in this blue cottage and it was perfect for us because we had the WHOLE FAMILY in town to celebrate Father’s Day! It had 3 large bedrooms and a bunk room that could’ve slept 8!!
Sam had no idea the bass fishing would be so good!! And, the fully-stocked pond was right outside our door!! Let’s just say, he was in HEAVEN!
But, fishing was certainly not the only activity!! We went on so many fun bike-rides on bicycles the property provides and up-keeps!
We got into several highly-competitive tennis matches…
Adam got a little crazy our tubing…
Tiff and I had so much fun with this PINK golf cart…
And Steve and I had a blast test-driving the new Ferrari’s that Boardwalk Ferrari brought in for the weekend!!
We also spent a lot of time at the pool!! They provide a GREAT grill where you can order really good food,
and enjoy the the view while you eat and relax!!
On Father’s Day Eve they even offered a special meal honoring all the Dads!!
In the evenings, we enjoyed boat rides and beautiful sunsets!
Long Cove literally offered something (and definitely more than 1 something) for EVERYONE! We had THE BEST time!!
I would HIGHLY recommend you look into their “come-try-it-out-for-the-weekend” offer if you are at all interested in a super-fun, super-family-friendly get-away!!
Even with the whole family in town, I was able to RELAX!! 🙂
