Welcome to our Valentine’s Home!
I was a little late decorating for Valentine’s this year, but it wasn’t because I wasn’t excited! You will find out later THE REAL REASON but IT’S HERE and I hope you love it! So keep scrolling to check out my Valentine’s entry and foyer…
Valentine’s Entry
I’ll start with the entry! Fresh flowers are my absolute favorite, and yes I actually do the dirty work and plant or pot them myself. I like to switch them out for each holiday and season to freshen and brighten up the entryway.
Then I found some candy heart yard decorations and knew they were the perfect addition to my front porch flower pots.
My front door candy heart wreath is a custom design by Babam Wreaths, who designs all of my holiday wreaths. Lastly, the heart-shaped doormats make it a very inviting entryway!
Valentine’s Foyer
Now, you can come inside to the Valentine’s Foyer! Just a month ago this was my Grinch tree for my Who-ville Christmas theme, which you can see HERE. I kept the large pink ornament balls and removed the others, then added some red candy hearts and topped it off with Valentine’s chocolates!
For the stair railing, I left the Christmas garland in place and then decorated it with pink tulle, hanging red hearts, and little Valentines boxes! The bright pink sets such a positive mood and really puts a smile on your face when you walk in the door!
Okay, let’s talk about this entryway table! Yes, that is a red tutu that I turned into a “table skirt” and it just makes the whole space SPARKLE! Usually I go with faux roses that look real, but these felt roses are to die for and the perfect addition to your Valentines decor!
Lastly, I always remind people to decorate your lamps! It’s something people forget about, but it’s so simple to add something small to your current lamps and be able to swap it out for each holiday or season! I just pinned small hearts onto the lamp shade and TA DAH! You can also see another lamp that I decorated below with small pink and red ornaments!
Lastly, don’t forget to add a little curbside appeal! If you watched my Instagram stories last week, you saw this flower hear transformation happen! It was EXHAUSTING, but totally worth it!
I’ll be sharing my Valentine’s dining and family rooms with you next week, so subscribe to my email newsletters so you don’t miss it!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
xoxo, Jennifer
