I love the 4th of July because I feel like it is time when the whole country comes together in unity and expresses gratitude for this incredible nation we are so lucky to be a part of! We all seem to let our political options take a backseat for a few hours and we just celebrate the United States of America!!
I have not been in America a lot lately and it has even heightened my appreciation for all we enjoy! And I have to say, good Wi-Fi is one of those little things I REALLY appreciate. Being in areas with little-to-no Wi-Fi, I have not been able to post! So, YAY, since I am back for a bit…
Here are some really fun, unique decorating ideas for our 4th of July Celebration!
The Front Porch!
Remember, the front porch sets the tone for the whole house so this is an area we always want to make sure is saying,
“Welcome! We are so glad you are here!”
A huge SHOUT-OUT and thank you to South TX Creations for creating this ADORABLE Uncle Sam Wreath!! I’m dying! I finished the door by adding red ribbon accessorized with pom poms and American flags! The rug is literally two royal blue rugs put together and accessorized with tacked-down red, white, and blue stars!
As most of you know, my outdoor decor always includes items from The Round Top Collection! They have not let me down with their Americana Collection!
I LOVE how the porch table turned out!! And it was so easy to do!! I literally bought a blue plastic tablecloth (yes, one of those really cheap ones!) and another “papery-plastic” flag tablecloth (I’m not even sure what we call those but you know, just the cheap ones with paper on one side with a plastic backing). I covered the top of the table with the blue one and did a simple tie-gather on the front of the table with the flag one!
I then accessorized with red lanterns, (similar ones here) star candles, Firecracker Uncle Sam, Glitter Lady Liberty, TONS of American Flags, Gumball Jars and fresh flower arrangements!
How fun are these firecrackers??!!! They are large enough to give us the credit we want in an open space like the front porch! They are also from the Round Top Collection and come as a set of three!
As crazy as I am about the front porch…
I can’t wait to take you inside on the next post!!!!
Here is a sneak peak….!!!!
Head to my other 4th of July post HERE!
Hugs… Jennifer
