I have to say, no matter what room I decorate, these extra large flowers on the center of the table are always a HIT! I bought them a couple years ago but they have been so popular Hobby Lobby still stocks them! Both their size and their rich color give us that  “wow-factor” we want! Grab a few, you will get so much use out of them (TRUST ME)!

Can I just tell you, I am still as crazy about this cute china as I was when I got it for my son’s wedding reception 3 years ago!!! I LOVE it and get so many compliments every time I use it! And because it is not specific to Valentine’s you can use it for multiple occasions or parties!

If you look closely you will notice I had used these adorable trees by The Round Top Collection on my Christmas Table, and I just switched the green ball for a red heart!

Do you see that massive heart made of flowers??? It’s a show stopper and easy to make! Just grab  large over-sized flowers (you could use red, pink or white); make a large heart out of cardboard, and hot glue the flowers to it! TADAHHH! This Valentine DIY turned out to be the best decoration in the house, AND I use it for more holidays than just Valentine’s,  so it gets a lot of use!

For the rest of the room, I set it up to be functional, because we actually USE this room!! I put extra plates and dessert stands within arms reach with the matching tea cups for after dinner!

Valentine’s Family Room

For the family room I went all out with the conversation hearts because they are my FAVORITE thing about Valentine’s Day! I LOVE the happy colors!!

This tree probably has 500+ decorations on it. Yes, it took me a WHILE to decorate, but 100% worth it, right? Giggle!!

As you probably know,  I keep my Christmas tree up and just transform it into a Valentine’s tree. It’s BOLD and adds so much character to the Valentine’s decor. And let’s be honest, after all the work we put into getting the tree up, isn’t it nice to get more than just a month or two out of it??Turtle Creek Lane Valentines Living Room Decor and Valentines Tree (4)

For the mantle, I began with these FABULOUS heart topiaries and individual conversation hearts from The Round Top Collection! Next, I simply created a comfy floral base for my cute Valentine Bear to sit on… so cute and easy!

The coffee table is decorated to be is a continuation of the mantle. I added a little friend for the Valentine bear, repeated the individual conversation hearts, and added a few other fun heart pieces to complete the look!
