3 Easy Steps to Create an Easter Kitchen!

March 20, 2019 Holidays, Home Decor

Let’s face it, when family or friends gather, it is usually in the kitchen!!  And because we spend so much time there, we HAVE to spice it up for the holidays! I have 3 easy steps for your EASTER KITCHEN that will make it bright and cheery for everyone to enjoy!

#1: Decorate the Chandelier

If you do not have a chandelier in your kitchen you would apply this to your breakfast room or dining room! Decorating the chandelier is something many people don’t think to do, but it says “WOW” and it’s usually the first thing people notice when they walk into the space! In decorating mine, I used a fern garland and added faux tulips in various pastel colors. It is simple and sweet! I chose tulips because I LOVE them, but you can choose whatever spring flower that makes you happy!

#2: The Kitchen Island Centerpiece

A tall vase with FRESH flowers is always where I start! This is the focal point, and I start with the tallest piece and work my way down. You can find a how-to of my FAVORITE Easter vase of all time HERE! From there, I like to add items that say FUN!  Candy vases always do that for me! If you have an egg plate, this is a great place to put it so it is ready to go!! Here is a sweet one!

#3: The Kitchen Backsplash (or as I like to call it, “The Eyeliner”)

We always end up with extra Easter decor pieces that didn’t quite fit anywhere else. I love to use these to line the back of the kitchen counter. It doesn’t take up your counter space, but it allows you to actually use all of your Easter decorations, and it’s the finishing touch to a unique and joyful holiday kitchen!

Ps. I LOVE wreaths, so I place them anywhere I can find the space. I always have my wreaths made by BaBam Wreaths.

The photos below are just some extra touches if you are a holiday decor fanatic like me! 🙂 Since I have the plates and dinnerware for every holiday, I might as well display them! Our family loves to eat, and we love to entertain friends and family; so having easy access to the Easter plates makes for cute decor and it’s functional too! I just pull a piece out if I need to use it!

    Good evening:
I just want to say thank you for sharing your home. I try to follow some of your wonderful ideas, but it’s so expensive to do each room. I did my fireplace with things I picked up at the Christmas tree shop. It looks okay, but I like your home. Can’t wait to see what you do for the 4th of July. Wishing you a blessed Easter to you and your wonderful family. Elisa

We must be sisters from another parent. I too love love love to go over the top with my decor. If you’re going to do something, do it awesome. Do you put your house on tours? If so I would have to make the trip from Missouri to see it. I also love that you show where you get your cute things and that they can be found s at affordable places like Michael’s, etc.
I would love to see a video of you putting it all together from scratch.

I may be a new fan but I didn’t know about you and then just tried to find everything you’ve done.
Keep up the great work. Look forward to your emails etc
